MATTHEW ZIMMER

Writing, Editing & Analysis:

I pride myself on my writing and analysis in sports writing. I can see things that other people either don’t notice or think about. My analysis also helps my predictions for big games or series. I’m proud of my editing, and I always proofread anything I write at least once before publication.

 

Work Ethic (Hardworking):

My four years at Washington State were filled with plenty of opportunities including Resident Assistant (RA) at Stimson Hall, General Manager at KUGR, News Reporter at Pullman Radio (KQQQ), and Sports Reporter on Cougnation (Cable 8 Productions). I’m usually a busy person, and my work ethic keeps me on time and productive no matter what tasks I need to complete that day.

 

Loyal:

My friends and colleagues come to me for help and support. I am loyal and look out for my own. I am a team player looking to benefit anyone that I can with my help. I would never leave someone in need. 

 

Detail Oriented:

Along with editing, I look deep at the statistics and analyze them in sports. In news, I always double and sometimes triple check to make sure all my facts are not only accurate but make sense in the context of the story.
